​This family home was created by combining two properties to form an enlarged 5 bedroom house in North West London.  The property is in a Conservation area, so we had to pay careful attention to the façade treatments, materials and proportions.

The clients were starting a family at the time so adaptable spaces were key.  We provided a large open plan living/dining/kitchen space by infilling a small courtyard.  It opens onto the rear garden providing a functional link between inside and outside.

The loft extension offered a private zone for guests or home office.
